Remember when you were a kid and you'd wake up with a big sharp pain shooting through your legs? Your mom would rush in and you'd explain the crying and she'd say, "Oh honey, those are growing pains. Your legs are just getting longer!" All cheerful and happy like.
Then she'd re-tuck you in and you'd think to yourself, "Why was she talking like this is a good thing? I'm in pain."
And then, just before you knew it, you'd be standing at the door-jam measuring your height and sure enough, you'd grown a full inch!
Well, there's a grown up version of that and you're in it.
It's okay to cry through it, because you're right, it hurts. It's painful. It's uncomfortable and annoying, to be honest.
But it's just growing pains and in a couple months you'll stand up to the door jam of your season and say, "Man, we've grown a full inch." All cheerful and happy like. :)
So until then, pray without ceasing, cry a little, and take some Tylenol.
